“Where it all began”

The San Fernando Valley Area of Narcotics Anonymous®, "Where It All  Began", welcomes you to our area Web site. Please feel free to utilize the information contained herein. To those that are new to recovery, these pages are presented to help facilitate your recovery. If you think that you may be an addict, please utilize the meeting directory to find a convenient meeting. Once there, we strongly urge you to raise your hand and identify as a newcomer. This simple act can be the start of a new life of freedom from the constant pain of addiction. Recovery from addiction is not easy but it is much easier than the life of despair into which our addiction has driven us. Once you are at a meeting we urge you to open yourself to honesty, open-mindedness, and willingness.

If you are a health care professional or simply a curious individual please contact our Public Information sub-committee.

If you are a relative or a loved one of someone that you think has a drug problem please be aware that our program is one of attraction not promotion. We have found that we can only help someone that seeks help and to that end we encourage you, to encourage him or her, to seek out a meeting of Narcotics Anonymous.
